5 Things I Do as Your Buyer’s Agent

I’ve been a licensed real estate professional for 16+ years, I’ve seen a lot of things. I’ve built one of our area’s most respected and decorated real estate practices because I offer deep market expertise, top notch negotiation skills and an unwavering commitment to you, our client’s, best interests. Here are some things that I handle for you as your buyer’s agent, before you even have to ask.

Price of Home

When you’re touring a home, I’m figuring out if the home is priced to sell or priced because the seller is emotionally attached and everyone else is just being polite about it. I notice the expensive stuff. While everyone else is complimenting the backsplash, I’m busy determining how old the roof is or HVAC system. I’m looking at drainage, windows, weird additions to the home and signs of water damage.

Block Party

I pay attention to the whole block not just the lot the house is located on. Where do people park in the neighborhood? How busy is traffic throughout the area in the morning or afternoon at peak travel times. Does the yard feel private? Would you actually enjoy coming home here each day?

Honesty is the Best Policy

Let’s face it, I’m honest. If I think you love the styling of the home more than the structure itself, I’ll tell you. Don’t feel bad, getting fooled by the aesthetics happens to smart people daily.

Always Thinking Ahead

I’m already building the offer plan in my head while you’re still in the kitchen pretending not to get attached. I’ll tell you when you need to move quickly and if I think the house will be available after you sleep on it.

Value

While you’re thinking, “Is this house is right for me?”, I’m thinking about your resale value. Someday this home could very well become the house I help you sell next.

Anyone can schedule a showing, but I’m here to help you buy well, stay calm in the process and avoid expensive character-building experiences. If you want an agent that notices things early, before you have to ask, give me a call at 478-952-2499.
